The Exchange Club of Murphy, Texas is a group of men and women working together to make our community, Murphy, Texas, a better place to live. We do this through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and it’s national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.
On May 20, 2016 Murphy Middle School hosted a fundraiser for G.I. Go Fund, an organization working in the veterans’ community through creating innovative, 21st century solutions to help veterans find employment, go to college, access housing, and connect to their benefits. In 2014, the Exchange Club of Murphy coordinated the purchase and installation of Murphy’s own Freedom Shrine. Installed in the Murphy Community Center, the Freedom Shrine is a collection of 32 Historic United States Documents, dating from the 1600’s to the 1900’s.
